2003 protests didn&#039;t stop anything; protests in Iran have had a much greater, if less visible, results. We probably won&#039;t see the end results of protests in Iran for quite some time. Having said that, those protests were &quot;for internal consumption only&quot;. Realpolitik teaches us that much.</description>
